I watched, like many, the Belmont Stakes which Big Brown not only failed his quest for the Triple Crown, but failed to finish the race at full speed.
Whatever the reason, it wasn’t meant to be. But I do have to say I have been more disappointed that many news and sportscaster used the term, ‘dead’ last. Seems to me that was a very bad choice of words after what happened at the end of the Kentucky Derby.
