Sick and Tired

Right now I’m not sure which of these three items I’m more tired of hearing.

Paris Hilton – Alright she’s out of jail.  Big deal.  Many people get out of jail everyday.  No they may not be Paris Hilton, but if she wasn’t the poor little rich girl that the media is going crazy over, would we care?

Election 2008 – It’s not for more than a year, but it’s already becoming a bore.  And how about the Edwards/Coulter thing. One has a big mouth and trying to sell books and speaking engagements and the other is helping her husband get elected.  Enough already.  Can’t it wait until after Christmas.

iPhone – This may be a big deal to Apple and AT&T, but the only people who are going to be getting one are those who can afford to commit to about 2000 dollars over a 2 year period.  Too expensive for my blood.  I’m not fond of AT&T, formally Cingular’s service and it’s not ready for business use.

I think it just may be time to go on vacation, hit the beach with a couple of books.  No computer, no cell phone and especially no radio or TV. Hey wait a minute that’s what I’m going to do.  Be back on the 9th of July with more Yesterday’s Coffee.
