Over in 4

By Steven G. Atkinson | Oct 29, 2007

It’s now official the Red Sox jink is now over.  For the 2nd time in 4 years the Red Sox have won the World Series.  They beat the once surging Colorado Rockies in 4 games.  Making it look like a No Series.

Teams do go through streaks where everything seems to go their way.  It was that way for the Rockies since early September ending with their 8 day layoff before the series began.  For the Red Sox it began when they needed to win 3 to make it to the series after falling behind 3 games to 1 against the Indians.

Even though the Red Sox won, we still should honor the Rockies for their streak.  One that may not be seen again.
