On one of the Entertainment shows, they had a report with pictures of Britany Spears and her young son outside. Spears, as she probably does nearly all the time, had a cigarette in her hand. How many of us don’t know she smokes and has been for quite awhile.
Playing near her was her son. On a small table near him was her pack of cigarettes and a lighter. Looking at the pictures what was shown, it appeared that he started to play with her lighter and she was taking it away from him.
All of the reports were about how bad she was for smoking near him and that she had her ‘vice’ in reach. Let’s be honest. How many of us have not been near a woman who was smoking when we were kids. I know I was. Both of my parents were smokers. Yes it was more than 30 years ago and times were different, but shouldn’t we really get real.
Being a bad parent is not always about doing bad things around your kid. It’s aloowing your kid to do bad things and get away with them.
Isn’t it time we let the poor girl alone?!
