Last night after watching Big Brother I kept the TV on CBS for the next episode of Pirate Master. Much to my surprise they had an episode of 48 hours.
I have since learned that the remaining episodes of Pirate Master is only going to be shown on-line at CBS.com. I’m not a big fan of viewing on-line shows so I doubt if I’ll be watching too many of the reminding episodes.
I guess the ratings were gosh-darn awful for CBS to make that decision. But is it fair to us that have been watching.
It would seem that CBS should have some unwritten contract with the viewers. They have been introduced to a show that the ending had already been taped before the 1st episode was shown. It has a beginning and an end. But they won’t be showing that end to anyone who doesn’t have a high-speed internet connection and wants to watch it on-line.
Sponsors will pull ads, maybe it’s also time for viewers to stop viewing.
