Yesterday was the Baseball Hall of Fame induction for Cal Ripken and Tony Gwynn. It was good to see that 53 of the living Hall of Famers were there along with over 70,000 baseball fans. Both of these were records.
Cal is credited with helping to save baseball in the 90′s and with the outpouring of admiration at Cooperstown, I would have to say that he may be still saving it.
My hats off to two of the classiest men to have put one a uniform. It may be a long time before we see something like this again.
