The Memorial Day weekend is over. Gas is hovering around the 3 dollars a gallon price. For most it’s over and for a lucky few it’s still a little less. In the past it has seemed that after the Memorial Day weekend there’s a small drop. Many will be hoping for it again.
By the 4th of July those small drops have now turned into small gains and until the end of the summer it hovers around that price. Once again many people are hoping for this to happen.
But there are still many who foresee the price of a gallon of gas to reach the 4 dollar level during the summer. That would be quite a gain at around 33%. Oh, I know there are many who hopes that won’t happen.
So far I’ve been lucky. I have yet to have had to spend over 3 dollars a gallon. It’s been close, I may have paid 2.9999 but that still isn’t 3 dollars. Actually I think the most I’ve paid is 2.9599, which is 4 cents under that magic number.
I don’t know how much longer I’ll be before I’ll have to pay that mark. But I do know I won’t be happy, but if I need to travel that’s what it’ll be.
