The month of May is nearly over. It has occurred to me that May is one of those months for change.
Spring is the season of beginning, but to many it’s an end. It’s the end of an academic year for many between the ages of 5 and 25, even for some much older. Most of them are just ending another school year while others will be graduating to a higher level. Seniors, whether High School or College, will be getting their diplomas, an end of many years of hard work.
But even with the ending, it’s a beginning. Some will have a summer full of adventure. Others just work and play. For all it could be a summer they will never forget. And a few will have their lives changed.
They will be joining projects or beginning their own projects. Some will be venturing out into the world as employees. Others will be getting ready for the next stage in learning. Although they may not know it, they will always be learning. Some will be staying at home doing their best while others will be seeing the world.
But to those who are graduating, either with a High School or College degree, it’s a time for celebration. Celebration of the good and the bad times that they have endured to reach a goal. A day that they will never forget, or a night before that they wish they never had so they could remember.
They need to be proud of their accomplishments, no matter how big or how small. Self Promotion is a good thing. Tell the world who you are what you are doing, where you want to go.
Now for my self-promotion.
I’m a struggling writer in the body of a struggling Telecom/Technology Consultant. I have little wants in life. Just to be able to live comfortable and to inform others. Please if you find this also take a look at some of the other things that I have put together.
As part of my Telecom/Technology Enterprise, I have been delivering informational messages about technology for over a year and hope that you may go to one of these places to see what’s there.
I have written a book dealing with technology for small business. Information about the book Technology Tips for Small Business.
Or my blog Telecom Tips for Small & Mid-Sized Businesses
I’ve also put together some other sites that some may enjoy.
6 Things to Consider. Here I write 6 paragraphs about a random subject, Six days a week.
ShoreToBeFun.com is the place to go for information on events around the Delmarva Peninsula and the Shores of the Chesapeake Bay. DelmarvaUSA.com and ChespeakeBayUSA.com are two companion sites.
And finally. A place that may be the most important of them all. I have grave fear that the future of the world may end up running out like a battery going dead because we are wasting energy. This site I will be passing along information on way to conserve energy. Please check this out, if none of the others.
More than Switching Off the Lights
In closing. It doesn’t matter your age, when you wake up in the morning and realize it’s a brand new day with the world in front of you, it’s a good day.
