Bio – H. August Knight

Let me be one of the last to wish you a Happy Halloween.

My life has been loaded with entertainment. My mother is an artist and my father played in bands. Music and art has always been a very important part of my life.

I went to school thinking that I would be involved in the arts and I have. As an accountant. I was good at math and while still in college began doing accounting work for organizations that involved my parents. From there as they say goes life.

So I became a fan. Truthfully it was the best move. My talents are small. I didn’t inherit the genes of my parents. But I know what I like and what I don’t. Many times my likes doesn’t seem to follow the critics.

I have been doddling with a concept that I termed; “From a Fan’s View”. I don’t really know why i didn’t take it further until now, but here I am working with Steve and Toni. We’ll see whether “From a Fan’s View” will materialize from this.

As Steve wrote in the site’s introduction, I will be the Entertainment Guy. For me entertainment includes sports so at time my contributions will include comments on sporting events.

I’m sure that some will wonder what the H. in my name stands for. In some ways it’s been an embarrassment in my life. I was born in 1971. My parents were fans of Neil Diamond. Yes, the H. stands for Hot. And it must have been a Hot August Night when I was conceived.
